Devan mathias
Devan Mathias is a professional actor and teaching artist who is thrilled to be part of the thriving arts community here in Indianapolis. She is a proud alum of Ball State University's Department of Theatre & Dance, where she majored in Musical Theatre. With Indy Shakes, Devan appeared as Celia in the 2019 Traveling Troupe production of As You Like It, and has also been seen on stage with Summit Performance Indianapolis, The Phoenix Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Actors' Theatre of Indiana, EclecticPond Theatre Company, Booth Tarkington Civic, and with Zach & Zack Productions. When not on stage, Devan loves instilling a passion for theatre in young people: She is a director for Hamilton Southeastern High School's drama program, and she has worked with students for various institutions including Actors' Theatre of Indiana, Indiana Repertory Theatre, and Indy Shakes. Devan lives in Fishers, Indiana with her husband, Ethan. When not immersed in theatre, she loves hot yoga and running, and is currently learning to play the ukulele.
