The Tempest

Heartland Actors’ Shakespeare on the Canal at White River State Park enchanted audiences with their 2014 production of The Tempest. Expertly directed by Courtney Sale, the show starred company member Robert Neal as the banished Duke of Milan, Prospero. Adding to the mystical feel of this island were company members Ryan Artzberger, as the deformed slave Caliban, and Phebe Taylor, as the loyal spirit Ariel. Also featured in the production were company members Scot Greenwell and Ben Tebbe as well as Chuck Goad, Mark Goetzinger, Adam Crowe, Chris Hatch, Ross Percell and Zoe Turner. Creating the magical world of The Tempest was the unsurpassed design team of Rob Koharchik, Laura Glover, Guy Clark and Todd Reischman. This production would not have been possible without the support of Lilly Endowment, the Christel DeHaan Family Foundation and the Indianapolis Foundation, a CICF Affiliate.
