Diane is extremely excited to move to the beautiful Riverside Park with the summer 2019 production of Hamlet. She is enjoying learning about all of the activities and programs in the vibrant Near Northwest neighborhoods. Diane is the proud Co-Chair of the Arts, Parks, & Public Spaces (APPS) Committee of the Near Northwest Quality of Life Plan (NWQOL). She is also a member of the Riverside Master Plan Steering Committee. Diane is grateful to all of the residents, members of the NWQOL, Master Plan Committee, and the Riverside Civic League for their warm welcome of Indy Shakes to the neighborhood. Special shout-out to Riverside Park Manager Yolanda Echols and her staff for being so welcoming and kind.

 Diane and all at Indy Shakes are thrilled to be working with  the Indianapolis Parks Foundation, Indy Parks, Indiana Landmarks, and Ratio Architects as we create the new Taggart Memorial Amphitheatre which is slated to open in Summer 2020. All of the organizations are grateful to Lilly Endowment for the generous Strengthening Indianapolis Through Arts & Cultural Innovation grant which is making this dream come true.

 Before moving to Riverside, Diane produced six Indy Shakes productions in White River State Park and appeared in an additional three as Emilia in Othello, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing and Nerissa in The Merchant of Venice.

Other acting credits include August: Osage County, Next Fall,November and Bug at the Phoenix Theatre, Spinning into Butter at Ohio's Human Race Theatre, Beautiful Thing at the Human Race and the Phoenix, Angel Street at the IRT, and American Clock and Doctor Faustus at Chicago's Court Theatre. Film credits include The Package with Gene Hackman and Amanda for Indy's Adrenaline Motion Pictures.

A Designated Linklater Voice Teacher, Diane is Professor and Chair of Theatre at Butler University. Her books include Spare Scenes: 60 Skeletal Scenes for Acting and Directing and ninety-minute Shakespeare adaptations for A Midsummer Night's Dream and Romeo & Juliet.

Diane is a grateful two-time recipient of the Arts Council of Indianapolis Creative Renewal Fellowship.
